Memorial '70 monument

Sept. 27, 2019 -- The annual ceremony of remembrance for those who died in the 1970 Wichita State University plane crash will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at WSU’s Memorial '70, located near the 18th Street and Hillside entrance to the university.

Aug. 29, 2019 -- Aliyah Funschelle is a junior studying sport management at Wichita State University. She is the campus representative for the American Athletic Conference and provides stories about WSU student-athletes to the network.

Aug. 20, 2019 -- The first hotel on the Wichita State campus is beginning construction. A 106-room Hyatt Place hotel will break ground next week on Wichita State’s Innovation Campus, within walking distance of the new Fuzzy’s Tacos, the Shocker Store and Starbucks.
